It's a mirrored acrylic with a metallized backing. The color is on the back surface so the front face stays smooth and easy to wipe down between events. The finish does not flake, oxidize, or change color over time.
Are gold plinths food-safe?
Yes. The acrylic is food-safe to NSF standards. Plates and food can sit directly on the surface. Sanitizing wipes and warm soapy water are both safe.
Can I dishwash them?
Top rack only on a low-temp cycle. Most caterers wipe-clean between uses to keep the finish at showroom level. The metallized backing tolerates dishwashing but the front face stays sharper with hand wipe.
How do they pair with white or marble pieces?
Mix them. The gold reads warm enough to anchor a white-and-marble setup or sit alongside black for an art-deco silhouette. Most clients buy gold for the statement pieces and white or black for the supporting risers.
